Reiki is a form of energy healing that aims to improve the flow of energy in the body, promote relaxation, reduce stress and anxiety, and support the body's natural healing processes. Reiki is not a religion, nor is it tied to any particular religion or belief system. It is a spiritual practice based on the concept of channelling universal life force energy to promote healing and well-being.

Anyone can learn Reiki, regardless of their intellectual capacity, spiritual development or previous experience of healing or meditation. Reiki is easy to learn and requires no special background, beliefs or qualifications.

It is currently possible to enrol for the Reiki Level 1 (also known as Shoden) training. SpiritIn will soon be offering Level 2 and 3 retreats.

For us, it is not only the teaching that is of great importance but that the retreat is effective for each participant and that everyone returns as a confident Reiki practitioner. We have therefore decided to limit the number of participants to 6-8 to ensure a personalised and focused experience for all. This allows the Reiki Teacher to give undivided attention to each participant and make the learning experience as deep and effective as possible for everyone.

• There are no prerequisites for attending a Reiki Level 1 retreat other than a willingness to learn and an open mind.

• The prerequisite for enrolling on a Reiki Level 2 Retreat is that you have already received the Level 1 Training and have been practising Reiki for at least 2 months.

• To apply for a Reiki Level 3 Retreat, you must have received the Level 2 Training and have been practising Reiki for at least 6 months.

SpiritIn accepts Reiki Level 1 and/or 2 certificates from any Usui Lineage, even if they were not obtained at SpiritIn.

Nowadays, the majority of the 2-day-attunements of the modern, or "Western" Reiki unfortunately only contain a fraction of the once so extensive teachings of traditional Reiki as it was taught in Japan.

At Spiritin we utilise all the wisdom and teachings of Reiki from Japan as taught by Usui and Hayashi Sensei (Jikiden Reiki). This one-week training not only covers a broader range of knowledge, techniques and practices from the traditional Usui healing system but also fosters a deeper understanding and integration of these teachings. By creating a one-week focus experience, participants are given sufficient time and space to practise and familiarise themselves with the newly acquired skills and knowledge and then return as confident Reiki practitioners.

You will learn the history and principles of Reiki, the procedure and hand positions for self-healing and healing others, various meditation techniques, the use of Reiki symbols, the principles of the chakra system and energy flow and much more. You will also receive over 20 pages of support material to help you on your Reiki journey during and after the retreat. The SpiritIn Reiki Retreats are designed to give each participant enough space and time not only to learn, but also to practice, test, experience and experiment, and to clarify any uncertainties that may arise during the retreat, while relaxing in a serene environment surrounded by nature. You will receive personal guidance during and after the retreat until you feel confident as a Reiki practitioner.

Please note: To ensure the best possible experience and proper integration of skills and knowledge during the retreat, all participants are strongly advised to abstain from alcohol and drugs and to take good care of their physical and mental health throughout the retreat.

The Reiki Formations are open to all people regardless of cultural or religious background. At present, the Reiki Retreats are only offered in English, but your instructors speak English, German and Spanish and will translate any lecture on the retreat if necessary.

Yes, upon completion of the Reiki Training, each student will receive a certificate that recognises their level of training and ability to practice Usui Reiki.

After the retreat, you will continue to receive guidance from your Reiki instructor for the first few weeks to help you successfully integrate Reiki practice into your daily life. This support can take the form of one-on-one calls as well as video meetings. In addition, the connection with your Reiki peers at the retreat is designed to last. After each retreat, there will be a dedicated WhatsApp/Telegram group with all retreat participants to support each other on the Reiki journey and to share questions and experiences with the first steps of Reiki healing.

The cancellation policy for our formations and workshops is as follows:

• In case of cancellation by the organiser: You will receive a 100% refund of the formation fee within 7 days of cancellation.

In the case of cancellation by the participant, the following policy applies:

• Cancellations received up to 60 days before the start of the course or workshop will receive a 75% refund.

• Cancellations received up to 30 days before the start of the course or workshop will receive a 50% refund.

• No refunds will be given for cancellations received less than 30 days before the start of the course.
