How to feel energy: A 3-minute-guide
What does "energy" feel like?
And how can we learn to feel energy? ⚡️
The process of learning to feel energy is easier than you might think. It involves frequently honing your sensitivity by paying close attention to the subtle nuances and vibrations that exist in your body and environment. As you practice actively observing these subtle movements and sensations, you may begin to notice subtle patterns and motions in your body and environment. Some examples of practising energy awareness are meditation, mindfulness, breathing exercises and other techniques. To increase the perception for your own energy, you can perform simple practices that activate and sensitise neural brain areas and nerves that are capable of detecting the subtle motions within your body-mind system, and thus making you are of them. Through repeated practice these senses continue to evolve and eventually you will be able to feel these nuances more and more often, also outside of the exercises. There is no limit to the level of sensitivity you can achieve through this kind of practice.
Simple exercise to train the perception of the own energy
Close your eyes and mentally scan your body from head to toe. Notice any sensations, tensions or areas of comfort or discomfort. This practice increases your awareness of the body's different energy flows and can highlight areas where energy may be blocked or overly active. You may notice different sensations in different areas, such as tingling, warmth, cold, vibrancy, tension, perhaps a sense of expansion or even more abstract feelings. The more you repeat this practice, the easier it will be for you to notice subtle changes in your being that would otherwise remain unconscious. Make this exercise a daily routine.
Simple exercise to train the perception of the energies in the environment
To practise perceiving energies in your environment, close your eyes, visualise the layout of the space around you and see what sensations or feelings you get while focusing on different parts of the room or space (Some people do this with their eyes open. Try both methods and see which feels better to you). Notice if some areas feel heavier or lighter, or maybe there will be different colors that come to your mind while focusing on the different areas. As with the first practice, repetition will make you more sensitive to how the energy in your environment differs. At some point, you will be able to perceive these nuances and become aware of them outside of the practice and without having to close your eyes.
